The paper is a result of our engagement with the computational sciences to develop and test a methodology to make sense of the performance of exceptional architecture on social media, using the case study of Depot Boijmans on Instagram.
It was driven by our curiosity about social media content generated by users about a building and how such content boosts the recognizability of such buildings and drives their associated narratives.
